Description
This book is the history of the Strathdon area which is the most westerly parish of Gordon District in north east Scotland. The area is rich in history , scenery and folklore. One main feature is the river Don which winds its way through the strath. The front cover depicts the Lonach Highlanders in 1946, and they can still be seen marching on the annual day of the Lonach Highland Games each August Book, which is rare, is very well illustrated with black and white photographs.
